Evan Anderson

Marilyn S. Koss is the president of Koss Benefits Financial and Insurance Services, founded in 1991. Prior to 1991, Marilyn directed the Washington Office of Government Affairs for New York Life Insurance Company, working directly with executive management to advocate and advance progressive, consumer-oriented and gender neutral policies. She also led industry-wide efforts nationwide affecting corporate and product taxation. Before that, she worked in the United States Congress, where she successfully authored health care and antifraud legislation. She holds an advanced degree in government policy, and has been active in professional associations, women’s advocacy groups and political organizations.
